Air Moldova Flight Tickets Booking

The baggage allowance policies of Air Moldova varied depending on the fare class and type. In general, one was permitted to check one piece of hand luggage into the cabin that weighed no more than 8 kilograms and didn’t exceed 115 cm (50 x 40 x 25 cm) in size. Even having a second bag, such as a handbag or a laptop bag, is possible.

For checked luggage, customers were eligible for one item weighing up to 23 kg and having dimensions up to 203 cm (width + height + depth) for flights in Economy class and two items weighing up to 32 kg each for flights in Business class. The BASIC fare holders on Economy class flight did not receive any complimentary checked luggage allotment. Customers could, however, pay an extra fee and buy more checked baggage at the airport or online.

Air Moldova had a cancellation and refund policy. According to this policy, customers were entitled to seek a full refund if they cancel the flight within 24 hours of booking. Further, the refund was dependent on the fare type, travel class and fare rules.

If anyone canceled the flight after 24 hours of the reservations, the cancellation fee was deducted from the booking value. This is how customers were even entitled to a partial refund.

The refund was even dependent on the reason behind cancellation and the time of the flight cancellations. Rather than this, Air Moldova even refunded the customers when the flights got delayed more than three hours.

Air Moldova included two cabin classes likewise, Economy class and Business class. Passengers on business class aircraft enjoyed priority check-in, priority boarding, more comfort, and access to the business lounge. Those fliers were even authorized to take one hand baggage. Passengers on Economy class flights had a choice of fares featuring distinct perks and limitations. Air Moldova operated a fleet of Airbus, Boeing, and Embraer aircraft with different configurations and capacities.

Economy: It was a basic fare that boasted comfort, an optimum, and promo experience. Basic economy fare holders were allowed to bring only one carry-on baggage weighed up to 8 kg. Depending on the fare type, seats were designed and dedicated to the respective passengers.

Business: Seat on Business class were wider, and reclining, that even included spacious legroom. Business class fliers had the right for a priority check in, priority boarding and depending on the fare type, Customers had even free access to the lounge services.

Air Moldova had inflight entertainment options such as music, movies, digi-games and TV series throughout its aircrafts. However, the onboard entertainment options were not available for the basic economy fliers. Unfortunately, Air Moldova didn’t have inflight wifi service to its fliers.

Fortunately, Air Moldova offered food and drinks to the travelers on board. Further, the food menu to the customers depends on the fare class and the duration of the flight. Economy class travelers were complemented with wines, a meal, and soft drinks.

Air Moldova offered an online check-in option to its customers. The online check-in started from 24 hours and ended 2 hours before the flight departure. Customers could access it on the Air Moldova official site. Rather than the web check in, customers had even the option to check in at the airport kiosk.

To reward loyal travelers, Air Moldova operated the Air Moldova Club frequent flyer program. The program is based on accruing Credit Miles on subsequent Air Moldova travels. Even when purchasing flights through the official website or the mobile app, travelers might accrue points.

Air Moldova was not an extent of an airline alliance program, however, it had codeshare agreements with Ukraine International Airlines, flydubai, Turkish Airlines (Star Alliance), and Utair.

There was an allowance for pet transportation as per the Air Moldova Travel policy. However, dogs and cats were only allowed to travel on Air Moldova Flights. The airline accepted only the prior agreement for the pet travel. Pets were carried in special containers only in the cabin of the aircraft. Pets were not carried for transportation on Air Moldova flights to/ from Ireland, Great Britain, and Portugal. Transportation of animals had to be qualified in advance.

Air Moldova included a fare program called Unaccompanied Minor for the kids from 5 years to 18 years old who travel alone. The fare was € 70 each way and existed only on flights operated by Air Moldova. The service required additional forms and processes that had to be met. Bookings for Unaccompanied Minors couldn’t be made online.

Air Moldova had lounge services which were free for the business fliers across all the selected airports. The business lounge at Chisinau International Airport comprises new interiors that are cozy and offer a variety of services.
