Additionally, one personal item such as a handbag or laptop bag is permitted. Business Class and La Première passengers are allowed two pieces of carry-on baggage with the same weight and size restrictions.
  • Checked Baggage: The checked baggage allowance varies depending on the travel class and fare type for long-haul international flights in Economy Class, the standard allowance is one piece of checked baggage weighing up to 23 kg (50.7 lbs) and not exceeding the linear dimensions of 158 cm (62.2 in). Business Class passengers are allowed two pieces of checked baggage and 2 free personal items.

Cabin Classes

Pet Policy

Air France accepts cats, dogs, and some species of birds as pets for transportation. Other types of pets may be accepted as cargo or through specialised services.

Small dogs and cats weighing no more than 8 kg (17.6 lbs), including the weight of their transport container, may be allowed to travel in the cabin. The pet must remain in an airline-approved carrier that fits under the seat in front of the passenger.Larger pets or those not eligible to travel in the cabin can be transported as checked baggage in the hold of the aircraft. Unaccompanied Minor
