Save on Air Antwerp Reservations

Air Antwerp is a regional airline that originated from Belgium and was based at Antwerp International Airport in Deurne. Its first operation for flying flights was done on 9th September 2019.  Air Antwern became a member of the European Regions Airline Association in October 2019. It mainly flew across the country as well as served only destinations. After handing over all the shares to KLM, Air Antwerp operation ceased in June 2021.

The financial as well as physical impact of COVID–19 caused the business loss to the airline due to which they decided to close all the operations together. Counting the years between operation and cease, you might have an idea how short it could survive in the aviation industry.

Baggage Allowance Policy

Air Antwerp had various baggage policies according to the bag.

Carry-On Baggage

Travelers were allowed for one carry-on bag that did not exceed the weight 10kg and was no larger than the size of 35cm x 20cm x 47.5cm. Alongside this, fliers could even carry one personal item such as a laptop, camera and a small purse.

Checked Baggage

According to the Air Antwerp Policy, travelers were entitled to carry One checked bag on the flights for free unless or until it was no heavier than 23kg and more than 158 cm in size. If someone wished to buy excess luggage they could do so as they did their air ticketing via mobile app.

Cancelation & Refund

Air Antwerp had a cancellation and refund policy so that customers facing date collapse issues on the same date of travel, could cancel the flight conveniently. Further, they could ask for a refund.

According to the cancellation policy, if anyone canceled the flight within 24 hours or same day of the reservations, they are entitled to seek a refund. But when someone did the same after 24 hours of the ticketing they were entitled to the partial or zero refund.

Airline was also responsible for the refund when the flight was canceled without pre-notification to customers or delayed more than 3 hours. Form of refund varied depending on the fare type.

Cabin Classes

Based on the web search result, we have found that Air Antwerp offered only one aircraft which is called Fokker. It featured 50 seats. The seats are comfortable and have space for the leg stretch.

Seat Selection

As per the web search, Air Antwerp did not offer seat selection service online to customers. However, customers could request for a seat at the airport check in kiosk.

Inflight Entertainment & WiFi

Following the web search, Air Antwerp did not feature any entertainment system or wifi service on the flight.

Food & Drink

Research online regarding inflight food & drink, shows that there was no any meal services to the customers on board. However, the airline offered complimentary snacks and beverages such as juice, coffee, tea, and water to the fliers on board.

Check in

There were two options that Air Antwerp used to offer to the customers for checking in to the flight. Here are those options.

Web check-in: The airline continues its web check-in process to the customers 30 hours prior to the flight which ends 90 minutes earlier than the departure. Using the mobile application or the official site, one could conveniently check in for the flight online.

Airport Check-in: To check in for the flight using self service, travelers were supposed to arrive at the airport as soon as possible. The check in at the airport started 80 minutes prior to the departure and ended 20 minutes before the flight.

Frequent Flyer Program

Air Antwerp did not feature its frequent flier program but had a partnership with KLM that enabled its customers to earn miles on every trip. Unfortunately, customers could no longer earn miles on travel as Air Antwerp had been discontinued.

Airline Alliance/Codeshare Agreement

Air Antwerp had no membership with any airline alliance. However, it holded a codeshare agreement with KLM Airlines which is SkyTeam Alliance’s Member. Therefore, there was an equal contribution of both airlines in operating the flights and serving the destinations.

Unaccompanied Minor

Air Antwerp did not have any service for the unaccompanied minor which means that the kids were not allowed to travel alone.

Pet Policy

As Air Antwerp operated one type of aircraft, there was no pet policy so that customers could travel with the pets.

Lounge

It appears that Air Antwerp did not include its lounge, but it functioned from Antwerp International Airport and Brussels Airport, which control their lounges that travelers could access for a fee or with certain conditions.
